SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -It didn't take Sioux Falls Police long to nab the suspected armed robber who ripped off a casino Tuesday night in the south central part of town.
After reviewing the surveillance video, an employee at Jokerz Casino near West 31st and South Minnesota recognized the suspect as Lance Larry Przybylski, a 46-year-old resident of Sioux Falls. The suspect is currently on parole for another crime and his parole agent also recognized Przbylski on the video.
So it was only a matter of hours before Przbylski was arrested without incident.
Original story:
Officer Sam Clemens says the suspect showed a handgun and fled on foot.
Clemens says the suspect did get some cash in the heist. He says there was one employee and three customers in the business when the robber came in around 9:30.
Clemens says no one was injured. He says there is surveillance and investigators are examining those images today.
The suspect described as a white male, brown hair, six feet tall, 180 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a jacket but nothing over his face.
Because of Marsy's law in South Dakota, police can't release the name of the business unless the owner gives approval. The incident occured on Minnesota Avenue near the intersection of West 30th and 31st Streets.
