SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO AM) Frontier Airlines will inaugurate nonstop service from Sioux Falls to Las Vegas beginning June 12.
Frontier will be the second airline to offer flights to Vegas.
"It's going to provide some real good competition and they have some introductory fares as low as $39 each way," Airport Manager Dan Letellier tells KELO Radio's It's Your Business Show with Bill Zortman.
Letellier said that Frontier is added other flights too.
"They're actually going to add service to Denver to have a flight every day, so not only Denver, but also the west coast, western half of the U.S., you'll be able to utilize Frontier."
Frontier's new service to Vegas will leave Sioux Falls at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Letellier continues to have discussions with other airlines to add service from Sioux Falls. For example, he has recently talked with Delta about possible flights to Salt Lake City and American Airlines to Charlotte,
