SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A pair of transients was arrested yesterday for allegedly altering video lottery tickets at two Sioux Falls casinos.
Officer Sam Clemens says the clerk at a casino on Arrowhead Parkway noticed the ticket was altered and refused to pay, but they had better luck at an East 10th Street Casino.
The second clerk redeemed the altered ticket but later realized it was a phoney
Clemens says officers found the couple's car at a third casino and arrested 35-year-old William Rainer of Sioux City and 38-year-old Casey Lopez of Omaha for theft.
The clerk at the Arrowhead Parkway casino wrote down the couple's license plate number when they left.
Lopez was also charged with possession of a controlled substance when police found methamphetamine on her when she was being booked.
