Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - The City of Sioux Falls is hosting a public open house for the project of Louise Avenue reconstruction from south of 41st Street to 49th Street, which is planned for reconstruction in 2017. The meeting will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Caille Branch Library (4100 Carnegie Circle). The purpose of the open house is to answer questions the public may have on the project design, construction phasing, and detours. The open house will be informal allowing for one-on-one discussion with the design team. There will be no formal presentation.

In addition, the City of Sioux Falls is hosting another public open house for the project of 69th Street from Landau Circle to Minnesota Avenue including the Western Avenue intersection reconstruction. This project is also planned for reconstruction in 2017. The meeting will be on Thursday, March 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Evangelical Free Church (2601 West 69th Street). The purpose of the open house is to answer questions the public may have on the project design, construction phasing, and detours. The open house will be informal allowing for one-on-one discussion with the design team. There will be no formal presentation.
