SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- A bill going through the South Dakota Legislature might eliminate groups like Teenage Republicans and Young Democrats from being able to use their public schools' facilities.
Dakota Free Press blogger Cory Heidelberger from Aberdeen spoke with KELO Radio's Todd Epp following Heidelberger's appearance on The Greg Belfrage Show Friday.
Heidelberger says that the bill may have the unintended consquence of keeping out not only youth political groups but public schools even hosting legislative crackerbarrels, as people would be taking political positions.
