SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man faces a litany of charges after he was found intoxicated in his parked car outside a south central city business.
Lieutenant John Duprey says employees called police after seeing 20-year-old Ahmed Ibar slumped over his steering wheel.
Duprey says when officers confronted Ibar he told them he was suffering from a medical condition and EMS was called to the scene.
When authorities pulled Ibar out of his vehicle, they found a 9MM pistol in his pocket.
Duprey says Iber is charged with DWI, possessing a firearm without a conceal carry permit, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, marijuana and failure to register as a sex offender.
