SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - Fire crews are searching for the cause of a deadly Sunday morning house fire on North 10th Avenue in Northeast Sioux Falls.
Batallion Chief Matt McAreavey says fire crews were called just before 1:45. An officer on patrol in the area made the initial report. Heavy smoke was coming from the home when fire crews arrived. The home's occupant was located and had died in the blaze.
The fire was put out in about forty-five minutes. The home suffered major fire damage.
