Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – The new year brings the closure of Badlands Pawn, Gold and Jewelry, according to a release from Badlands.
Badlands Gun Range and Gun Store and the radio operation remain, and will not be shut down. Both are looking for new ownership. Badlands Speedway near Brandon is also looking for new ownership.
The 60 thousand square foot Badlands Pawn building and the land will be on the market soon. Dollar Loan Center property in Sioux Falls and Aberdeen are also for sale.
Dollar Loan Centers in South Dakota and the Brennan Rock and Roll Academy previously closed, fallout from the passage of the 36 percent pay day loan rate cap approved by the voters in November.
