SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 24-year-old man died in a single vehicle accident this morning in Interstate 90 east of Brandon.
The man's name is not being released until family has been notified.
The Patrol says A 2007 GMC Yukon Denali was eastbound and merged onto the Valley Springs exit ramp when the driver lost control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled.
The driver was not wearing a setbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He died at a Sioux Falls hospital.
The accident happened around 7:22 this morning about four miles east of Brandon.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
