SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) Governor Dennis Daugaard was doing a little Christmas shopping in downtown Sioux Falls on Wednesday.
He was encouraging shoppers to come back downtown in the aftermath of the tragic building collapse now that everything is back to normal. He also remarked on the pleasant change in the weather.
"The weather outside is no longer frightful and downtown Sioux Falls is very delightful," proclaimed Daugaard at Zanbroz on Phillips Avenue.
Daugaard made a point of saying that any city in South Dakota is where folks ought to be shopping this holiday season to keep it local, rather than doing everything online.
