SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- Before the 22 year old woman was rescued from the collapsed downtown building, her pet husky Milo was plucked from the debris.
The dog was rescued about 1:25 p.m.
A rescue worker carried the animal away from the scene. Milo looked to be in good condition.
Bystanders thought the dog was sleeping in the bed with the woman who was later rescued.
Rescue efforts continue for a construction worker still buried in the rubble. The Copper Lounge collapsed around 10:50 a.m. The building was being remodeld into a Lews Drug store.
