SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A plea today from Sioux Falls City Hall to get out and vote tomorrow.
Mayor Mike Huether says it was five years ago tomorrow residents went to the polls in record numbers to approve building the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Huether advises residents to exercise your right to vote. He says every vote has an impact on the city, state and "our great country."
Polls are open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and if you need to find your polling place go to the South Dakota Secretary of State's website.
City Council Chair Rex Rolfing says "Let us always remember that our servicemen and women gave their lives to preserve out freedoms, including the right to choose our future through the ballot box."
Mayor Huether referred to city residents voting five years ago over the PREMIER Center saying "Our city has seen firsthand what voters can accomplish when they show up at the polls."
