SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Around 9:30 Wednesday morning two men robbed the Dacotah Bank near West 26th Street and South Marion Road in Sioux Falls.
The suspects entered the bank, showed a handgun and left with cash.
Both were wearing neon green hooded sweatshirts. The suspect with the handgun is around 5’5” and 130 pounds. He was wearing a Halloween mask with a long beard, a baseball cap, and sunglasses.
The other suspect is around 6’ tall, 180 pounds and was also wearing a Halloween mask.
The suspects fled in a car that was found about a block south of the bank. Police says the car was reported stolen from Sioux Falls on October 25.
The FBI and Sioux Falls Police are investigating. If anyone has information, call Crime Stoppers at 367-7007.
There were four employees inside the bank at the time of the robbery.
This is the first armed bank robbery in South Dakota's largest city in nearly two years. Coincidentally, the last bank robbery was also at a Dacotah Bank branch, on the east side of town in March of 2015.
