SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Some South Dakotans are grumbling over the ten ballot measures and are suggesting a no vote across the board.
President of the state Chamber of Commerce, Dave Owen, says he's heard the chatter.
Owen says he thinks it's an expression of a frustration of people that may be "inside the bubble."
Owen says each measure should be decided on it's own merits. He says the Chamber sees Amendment R, which deals with workforce training in the technical schools, as pro-economic and pro-job development. The Chamber hopes that measure will pass.
Owen labels a no vote movement as taking the easy way out
He says there are some people that are seeking a simple expression to face ten issues on the ballot and they're giving voice to this undercurrent.
County auditors are reporting some voters taking a half hour or longer to cast absentee ballots.
