SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man suffered non-life threatening injuries when he was intentionally hit by a car yesterday morning outside his home on North Duluth Avenue.
Police say the incident began when the suspect, 21-year-old Elvis Husic, walked into the victim's home and the men started fighting. The fight spilled out of the house into the front lawn and eventually the street.
A woman tried breaking up the fight and Husic is accused of hitting her.
Husic got into his car and allegedly hit the 22-year-old vicitm with the vehicle. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Husic was later arrested for aggravated assault, burglary, intentional damage to property and simple assault.
Police say Husic and the victim did not know each other but share a mutual friend.
