SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police are investigating the death of a two month old boy at a daycare on Fernwood Drive last Friday.
Officer Sam Clemens says the provider found the child unresponsive in a car seat.
Clemens says investigators aren't sure what happened to the child, he did not show any signs of trauma. He says there are no charges at this time.
He says it will take time for the autopsy results to come back. The toxicology reports consume most of the autopsy's time and those will take weeks.
Clemens says the city health department suspended the in-home daycare's license because of code violations. Neither the police of the health department are revealing what the violations are.
