SIOUX FALLS, Police say an emotionally disturbed man with a firearm surrendered peacefully last night at a residence in southwest Sioux Falls.
Officers responded to a call of an intoxicated man on West Essex Drive and failed to make contact with him.
SWAT negotiators were able to convince the man to surrender. He was arrested and received medical attention.
No one was injured during this incident.
