SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls historic Cathedral neighborhood has the highest incidence of fires and two organizations will install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide in one hundred homes this weekend.
Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Mike Top says the Good Samaritan Society raised funds to buy the combination detectors and they'll go into homes of seniors.
Notices were sent to homes in the neighborhood, 450 responded and the 100 were sorted by age.
The Society teams will install the detectors in the homes Friday and Saturday
