HARRISBURG, SD (KELO-AM) Lightening struck the roof of the high school in Harrisburg, South Dakota, during Thursday's torrential rain.
"There's a couple little spots where you can tell that burn marks had taken place," Superintendent Jim Holbeck told KELO Radio News, "one, there's a hole about the size of your finger in the metal on the roof."
Holbeck says no one was hurt and classes kept rolling along. He says he did hear that some of the students jumped when the lightening hit.
"I'm sure it was quite a jolt of noise when that hit the building," said Holbeck.
