PRESHO, SD (KELO-AM) A motorcycle crash involving twin brothers from Sioux Falls, has left one of them dead and the other recovering, at least physically.
Authorities says James Woldt Jr. died when his motorcycle rear-ended the motorcycle driven by his twin brother, David Woldt on Interstate 90 eastbround near Presho, South Dakota. Apparently the motorcycle in front had suddenly slowed down.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says that Woldt Jr. was thrown from his motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet. David Woldt was wearing a helmet and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
This terrible crash happened on Sunday, so the brothers may have been riding home to Sioux Falls from the 2016 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
