SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Dairy Queen locations in the Sioux Falls area are participating in an event today to help raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Sanford Health.
The fast-food chain will donate a minimum of $1 to Sanford Children’s Hospital and others in the network for every Blizzard sold during the company’s Miracle Treat Day promotion.
Miracle Treat Day is an annual event that dates back more than a decade.
Dairy Queen has raised more than $135 million for children’s hospitals since 1984.
The event raised about $245,000 for Sanford hospitals in Fargo and Sioux Falls, according to a Wednesday announcement from the health care system.
