SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The Minnehaha County Jail released the wrong inmate on Monday.
Warden Jeff Gromer says the two had the same last names.
"I still need to look at the details of what went wrong to allow this to happen."
Inmate 'David Watson' was the guy due to be released, but the jail released 'Adrian Watson' by mistake.
Authorities are now searching for Adrian Watson to get him back where he belongs. The wrong Watson was in custody facing various charges including robbery and simple assault.
Warden Gromer says he doesn't believe there is any danger to the public.
