SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken will present his administration's budget to the City Council later today when he outlines his five-year capital spending plan.
The annual capital improvement presentation typically lays out major projects the city will tackle in the coming years with the bulk of the spending going toward roads and utilities.
The capital program will likely focus primarily on utilities, but it's also expected that the city's plan to tackle the Emerald Ash Boer problem will take up some of the city's parks budgetary needs over the next decade.
The mayor addresses the city council at 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
