SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - Blood donations drop but the need for blood increases in the summer.
People are busy with vacations and activities but there are more injuries from motor vehicle accidents and sports activities.

So, to help fill the gap, KELO Radio's Greg Belfrage, for the sixteenth year--has helped the Sioux Falls Community Blood Bank get donors and raise awareness of the importance of giving blood.
Saturday, Greg broadcast live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the driving running from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lewis Southgate parking lot at 41st and Minnesota.
