SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- As well as being a year of big project announcements for downtown Sioux Falls, it's been a year of new leaders in the city and region.
Avera Health, the University of South Dakota, the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, and even the City of Sioux Falls, to name just a few, got new top leadership in 2018.
"It's been a year marked by fundamental, really almost wholesale leadership change in this community," said Jason Ball, president and CEO of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. "It's just a year where all the chairs have changed, all the seats have changed, and that's an OK thing."
Ball also says it's a healthy thing to have happen in an economy but it also brings about new challenges and opportunities.
