SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) – A Republican political consultant with ties to South Dakota says he’ll help run a free campaign for a primary challenger against state Rep. Isaac Latterel, who performed a face palm at the Republican Convention when South Dakota’s votes for Trump were announced.
Rob Burgess was the South Dakota GOP’s communications director during the 2014 election and is a political consultant in Indiana. He said the Sioux Falls Republican should be barred from the GOP’s legislative caucus in January as well as punishment for his actions last week.
Burgess made his comments Friday morning on KELO Radio’s The Greg Belfrage Show.
