SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Despite reports of voting problems around the state, Republican gubernatorial candidate Marty Jackley says things are going well for him.
"It's going great, having a wonderful day in Sioux Falls so far," Jackley said. "I started it out waving Jackley signs on 41st Street, moved down to Phillips Avenue. People are excited, they're engaging. I encourage people to just go out and vote. I'm hearing great stuff."
Now it's a matter of getting supporters to the polls in what both candidates say will be a close race.
"Our plan has always been strong volunteers," Jackley said. "We have a good ground game, encouraging people, making phone calls, waving those signs, on 41st Street and on Phillips. I think that's how you really win these elections."
The polls close at 7.
