SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) - - Sioux Falls residents will get their first official Downtown Block party of the year on Friday night.
First Friday will get underway at 5:30 PM at the 8th & Railroad Center in Downtown Sioux Falls.
It's a family-friendly event that will have music, food trucks, and plenty of fun activities for the kids.
Admitance is FREE to the public and many of the activities are complimentary.
Here's the music schedule for the June 1st Block Party:5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Better Ride from Aberdeen 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM The Unnotables from Sioux Falls9:00 PM - 11:00 PM The 4onthefloor from Minneapolis
The following food trucks will be on site Friday night:- SDSU Ice Cream- Backyard BBQ- Phan Food- Stone's Famous Kettle Corn- The Lunch Box.
Proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the DTSF organization to help host future events in Downtown Sioux Falls.
This year, DTSF, Inc. is partnering with Vern Eide Honda, who will help kick off a new promotion called The Hops & Honda Tour.
Event goers will travel to various breweries in Downtown Sioux Falls every Friday to get a passport stamped.
Once you get your passport stamped, you can turn it in to win a 2-year lease for a 2018 Honda Civic.
A portion of the drink specials at each tour stop will help raise money for Sioux Falls Area CASA.

Vern Eide will also be offering free rides home from every brewery tour stop until midnight.
