SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A new attack ad from Shantel Krebs accuses Republican Congressional Primary Opponent Dusty Johnson of misusing the state plane when he was in government.
"Abusing his office, luxury trips....," the narrator intones.
The Johnson campaign calls the ad "defamatory". The campaign says Johnson never used state assets to attend personal events and there's no proof to the contrary.
Then the Krebs campaign shoots back with this press release headline:
"Dusty Flies, But Can't Hide...From The Truth."
Republicans Krebs, Johnson and Neal Tapio are flying fast to the day of decision, the June 5th primary. Democrat Tim Bjorkman is running unopposed. South Dakota's lone congressional seat will be vacant because Kristi Noem is running for governor.
