SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Despite the shorter window, there were more absentee ballots cast for today's Sioux Falls run-off than there were in the April 10th election:
"We had 3,215 absentee ballots sent in either by mail or in person," City Clerk Tom Greco said. "That exceed the April 10th number by about 15 or 16."
There was also shorter time to vote absentee for the run-off than for the general election last month.
Greco hopes the absentee numbers bode well for today's turnout. He also reported as of mid-afternoon no issues with the voting process.
The polls close at 7.
