SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- With areas between Sioux Falls and Brookings flooded, it's important to clean out your sheetrock if it's been damaged by flood waters.
Jerry Berg with Intek says the paper on sheetrock is mold's best friend. He says the it's made up of old newspapers and sugar water.
And growing mold can be dangerous.
"Seven generations of mold, when it gets to the fifth, sixth, and seventh, if you're not paying attention, and you allow it to go that far, are the ones that start causing you to have health problems," Berg said.
