SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Thousands will attend the Sioux Falls Air Show over the weekend and parking will be at a premium with three large lots available for attendees.
Organizer Chuck Nelson says park at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds, Premier Bankcard on North Louise Avenue and at Southeast Tech.
Nelson says it costs $4 a person to ride the shuttles, kids under five are free, and the security screening will be done before you board.
Gates to the Sioux Falls Air Show, featuring world class aerial demonstrations and a tarmac loaded with legendary aircraft, open tomorrow and Sunday morning at 8:30.
Nelson says there's no shortage of activities before the show starts at eleven.
He says there's a wide array of World War II aircraft, a Sony PlayStation, an F-35 simulator where you sit in a cockpit to pretend you're flying the actual aircraft and the Navy Rock Band will entertain the crowd.
The Navy's Blue Angels will have the final performance before the show ends at five.
