SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) In the midst of the hottest weather this year, one of the busiest public pools in Sioux Falls has been shutdown for two days.
Someone had an 'accident' in the Terrace Park pool and it takes 25 hours to fully disinfect the water.
Terrace Park Family Aquatic Center is anticipated to reopen on Saturday, July 23, at 1 p.m.
Thankfully, Sioux Falls has several other public pools, including the wading pool at McKennan Park, although that probably wouldn't do the trick, what with the heat index expected to hit 110 degrees on Thursday.
Speaking of pools, the MIDCO Aquatic Center, Sioux Falls first indoor pool complex, is still on track to open this fall.
