UPDATE: I-29 northbound re-opened at 49th Street

UPDATE: Interstate 29 near 49th Street in Sioux Falls was re-opened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to Sioux Falls Police.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A suicide from the 49th Street overpass has closed I-29 for the past hour.

That's according to Sioux Falls Police spokesman Sam Clemens.

Sioux Falls police are investigating the incident.

At noon, the police said the Interstate would likely be closed for an hour and a half.
