SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – The NCAA Division II men’s and women’s Elite 8 tournament tips off today at the Sanford Pentagon.
All 16 coaches from around the country were at a news conference on Sunday at the Pentagon, and praise for the venue was widespread.
“The Pentagon has a great feel to it,” said California Baptist head coach Rick Croy. “Even the outside courts, getting to practice. But then when you walk in there, I think our guys were like, ‘Man, this is special.’”
The women tip off today starting at noon. The men’s tournament starts tomorrow at noon, and it includes Northern State who will face East Stroudsburg University out of Pennsylvania.
