SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The Denny Sanford Premier Center ended 2017 in the black, for the third straight year.
“I dare you to find another publicly owned events center that is operating in the black and delighting artists and fans at the level we are in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, right now,” says Mayor Mike Huether.
Attendance also increased for the third straight year, topping 700,000 for the first time at 709,000 patrons.
The nine sold-out concerts by Garth Brooks sure didn't hurt the Denny last year.
The venue hosted 18 sold-out events during the year, including all that help from Garth.
