SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The owner of the Stoplight Lounge on East 10th Street was fixing the bar's exterior lighting early this morning when a man ran out of the business that was closed.

Lieutenant John Duprey says the suspect ran to west and the owner called 911.

Duprey says officers found 30-year-old Corey Allen Taylor of Sioux Falls in the rest room of the nearby Get N' Go.  Taylor was identified as the person who ran from the lounge.

The burglar damage the cash register and some of the video lottery machines to get to the cash.

Officers found cash on Taylor who, for now, is charged with burglary.

Meanwhile...Lightening struck twice for an alleged garage burglar who was detained by the homeowner early this morning at a residence on South Landau Circle.

Lieutenant John Duprey says the incident mirrored a similar crime last month involving 55-year-old Perry Allen Stark.

Duprey says Stark was arrested in a very similar incident in a garage on South Saint Charles Lane where another homeowner detained him in a garage.

Duprey says police found items on Stark in the most recent incident that may have been taken in other burglaries.
