SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- It might be a first in an election, at least in Sioux Falls.
Mayoral candidate David Zokaites has produced a music video about his campaign.
But that's not the interesting thing. Lots of politicians use videos, even music videos in their campaigns.
No, it's the use of a "zombie" theme that has caught people's attention.
Zokaites says it's an allegory for what goes on in City Hall.
He says he's been working on the video since early December. It even includes some "green screen" work in a friend's studio basement.
Zokaites has already had campaign songs he has written and performed on his campaign website. He even performed one of his songs at a recent City Council meeting.
But with the release of his zombie music video for mayor, Zokaites has turned the "different" knob past "10."
