SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- It was an apparent "love triangle" with an extra corner thrown in, creating a "love quadrangle."
Sioux Falls Police say not much about a homicide that happened over the weekend is typical.
Two brothers, 24 and 26, attacked a 17 year old boy who was also involved with a girl friend of one of the brothers.
All three men had, what the police call, "edged weapons."
The 17 year old fought off the brothers, inflicting fatal wounds in the one not involved with the woman--the 26 year old brother.
The suspect charged in the case is Franklin Roberto Ishin-Serrano, 24,who is charged with first degree attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Serrano is also being held on an immigration hold.
The initial confrontation occurred at an apartment at 42nd Street and Willow Ave. The brothers left that apartment and when to another apartment about half a block away, according to police.
