A KELO.com News survey of some of Sioux Falls' supermarkets showed a busy weekend leading up to the Super Bowl tonight.
One stocker at the Hy-Vee on 57th and Cliff compared Saturday night to the night before Thanksgiving, traditionally one of the busiest days of the year for the food store.
A checker at the Hy-Vee on South Minnesota Avenue said it was like Christmas today at about 2 p.m..
"It's been busy is since 8 a.m. today," "It's been like this," she said, pointing to a line stretching at least three or four people deep in her lane.
