SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Sharp eyed thieves took advantage of at least two warming-up cars in Sioux Falls during this latest cold snap.
Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says a car was left warming up outside an apartment and it wasn't ten minutes before a neighbor saw a thief driving it away. The second was another car warming up outside the house and as the owner stepped outside he saw it driving away.
It's an object lesson to use a remote start, if you have one, or wait for the car to warm up with you inside, or maybe you could tether a vicious dog near the car as it's warming up.
