SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- It was minus 11 degrees this morning but it wasn't too cold to give blood.
Hardy souls showed up to the Sioux Falls Community Blood Bank blood mobile, which was parked in front of the KELO-AM studios on Phillips Avenue Wednesday morning.
It was part of Day 2 of "The Heroes Behind the Badges Blood Drive" that's going on this week.

Blood is in short supply during long holidays like Christmas and New Years.
