SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The December issue of South Dakota Public Broadcasting Magazine just happens to feature a cover photo with Garrison Keillor.
The magazine was mailed out before allegations of Keillor's 'inappropriate behavior' were made public. The new issue features a photo of Keillor standing with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Gates hosts the national program "Finding Your Roots." The December 19th episode was to have featured Keillor. It's unclear if that segment will be removed.
A spokesman for SDPB calls the magazine photo "a bit of unfortunate timing." He says they have replaced the photo in the electronic version of the magazine.
SDPB has no programming featuring Keillor so won't have to jiggle any broadcast schedules.
