SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- With another sold-out show looming at the Denny Sanford Premier Center this weekend, venue officials are reminding ticket-holders of parking procedures.
As usual, patrons are encouraged to carpool to the show and get there early. Parking is usually still available in the lots surrounding the venue even after an event starts. Otherwise, additional parking is available at the McCart Fields softball complex one block south of the facility on Western Avenue, or on-street parking south and east of the venue.
No bags or backpacks larger than 13” x 15” will be allowed. Weapons of any kind including concealed carry weapons, knives (including pocket knives), mace (pepper spray and keychain pepper spray), blades, and tools are prohibited. Large belt buckles will need to be removed during the security screening process.
A new wrinkle to this show will be the addition of a Lyft passenger drop off point. Those who call on a Lyft driver to get them to and from the show will be dropped off in the Sioux Falls School District parking lot on Western Avenue directly across from the venue.
This is the first major concert in Sioux Falls since the ride-hailing service began operation. Traditional city taxi services remain an option for those attending the concert as well.
