TEA, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A 22-year-old woman's car fell off the bridge at the Tea Exit on Interstate 29 late Thursday morning.
She was rushed by helicopter to a Sioux Falls hospital with life threatening injuries.
State Highway Patrol Spokesman Tony Mangan says the young driver apparently collided with the bridge's guard rail and went over onto 271st Street.
The accident temporarily blocked traffic.
