SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) - The National Weather Service says a Freeze Watch has been issued for Monday night through 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning for areas to the north and west of Sioux Falls. The immediate Sioux Falls area is not in the watch, however, Brookings, Huron, Mitchell and Lake Andes are in the Freeze Watch.
Temperatures will be around 30 Tuesday morning, possibly damaging or killing tender plants and crops.
There could be some patchy frost on the pumpkin for Sioux Falls Tuesday morning is 33, with a high of 54, according to the National Weather Service. Lows the rest of the week are expected to be in the mid 40’s, with highs in the low to mid 60’s Wednesday through the weekend.
