SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the Sioux Falls region.
The watch will be in effect from 6 p.m. Monday evening until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Weather Service predicts up to 3 inches of rain, perhaps more in scattered areas.
The watch includes Minnehaha, Lincoln, Clay, Moody, Turner, Union and Yankton in southeastner South Dakota and also nearby parts of Minnesota and Iowa.
