Rounds: Obamacare replacement means more money for South Dakota

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) South Dakota U.S. Senator Mike Rounds (R) says the new Obamacare replacement bill will mean more money for South Dakota:

"Compared to what we are receiving right now, which is slighly under $800 million during that same time period, it means as much as $1.3 or 1.4 billion in additional revenues available to the state."

Senator Rounds explains that the Graham-Cassidy Bill will return more healthcare control to the 50 states - Governor Daugaard and other governors are better equipped to deal with the issues than the federal government.

Rounds says he has trouble understanding the logic of U.S. Senator Rand Paul's opposition.

"Look, if we want to get government totally out of healthcare, that's fine, but that's not where we are at in the United States today." Rounds says Graham-Cassidy is the next best thing to a "perfect system" and it's definitely better than Obamacare.
