SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) It was tough keeping a straight face at Thursday's daily crime briefing by Sioux Falls Police.
"He was found in a utility room. He had a bag of shredded cheese. He was eating it." Officer Sam Clemens calmly briefed the media about the drunken man who had gotten into an unlocked house. When police arrived they found him eating shredded cheese.
A hard-working journalist at the briefing who wanted to dig into the story a little deeper asked Officer Clemens if the shredded cheese had been stolen from the house or if the culprit had brought the cheese with him.
Clemens couldn't say.
Apparently know what thought to ask what type of shredded cheese.
