Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - A water main break near West 57th Street and South Louise Avenue today is causing traffic delays. The water main break is believed to be in the middle of the intersection, which will necessitate significant lane closures. No left turns will be allowed at the intersection while work is underway.
Lane closures at West 57th Street and South Louise Avenue include:
- · All left turn lanes in all four directions are closed.
- · The southbound right turn lane is closed.
- · The inside eastbound through lane is closed.
Drivers are asked to avoid the 57th and Louise intersection, and traffic delays are to be expected. Alternate routes include West 53rd Street, Solberg Avenue, Oxbow Avenue, and West 59th Street for local traffic. All through traffic should use 69th Street.
